Lash Lift

FAQs

What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is essentially a perm for your natural lashes, this relatively low-maintenance process lifts and curls lashes long-term. A lash lift curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length. All lashes have a natural shape to them, so this process alters that shape via a tiny curling rod and a lifting solution.

What are the contraindications for a lash lift?

  • Lash Lift within the last 8 weeks.

  • Pregnancy within the first trimester.

  • Previous allergic reactions to lash lifting.

  • Laser eye surgery in the within 6 weeks.

  • Inflammation or infection of the eye.

  • Hormonal medication. For example roaccutane, thyroid medication. These types of medications make it hard to predict how effective the lash lifting solution will be so we don’t recommend it during this period to avoid disappointment.

how long does it last?

The results typically last four to six weeks, depending on how quickly your eyelashes grow. You should avoid mascara for 48 hours after the treatment, and leave lashes untouched for a full day. “No makeup, or water should come in contact with your lashes for 24 hours to ensure the lift correctly sets into shape.
